Wow, alrighty. Can someone say I’m terribly at blogging? Because it’s true.
I had the amazing joy and pleasure of photographing my two wonderful friends Thea & Dov at Whytecliff Park, I wannnna say two years ago? I mentioned I’m a terrible blogger right?
Anyways, so I met Thea while attending my MRI program in Edmonton; we were classmates. Both of our clinical placements were in Edmonton as well so we had many opportunities to study together for our final. Throughout the whole program, I said my goal was to move back to Vancouver but there were few jobs at the time. During the last semester of the program, the government gave BC a large incentive to hire new techs and increase scan numbers. I realize this isn’t very photography related. So many jobs were becoming available. I applied and strongly encourage Thea to as well.
So, as you may have guessed, we now both live in Vancouver and we have no regrets. Her fiance at the time, Dov, made the move over and they have since then loved the city I was raving about for so long.
We shot their engagement photos at Whytecliff Park, had a wonderful day trying not to get our feet wet; but I always seem to. They have since had their wedding to which I was elated to be one of Thea’s bridesmaids!
Enjoy the wonderful adventure we took as the sunset that day, after the adventurous year we all had.
