I grew up in a semi desert, so for most of my childhood I did not get to experience the beauty of the ocean.
The clean fresh air it brings, and the great intensity of mother nature it has the capability of showing.
On this photoshoot, I will admit, I was hoping for sun. But we got cloudy, stormy weather as we photographed it in the fall. I can’t be too surprised to be honest, this is Vancouver after all.
But in so many ways, the weather made the shoot; had the weather not been a bit cloudy and very windy, we wouldn’t have captured that true pacific northwest feel; the raw-ness of the ocean, the flow of the models hair, and the endless horizon.
This shoot speaks to me in so many ways and I admire it still to this day.
So fortunate to have worked with Felicia Bromba as the MUA, Kasia as our stunning model, and Our Little Flower Company who provided the amazing bouquet.
